Description:

KAMSC Computer Studies provides students a year of acquiring computer related skills that can be used for current and future problem solving applications in the sciences and mathematics. Various Computer competitions are available. Topics include: data base management, telecommunications, computer graphics, Web Design, Introduction to JAVA, Ethical Behaviors. A software development segment is included (a unit of structured programming experience with emphasis on design, structure, and algorithm development). Students complete a research project and a college search. This course offers superior preparation for the KAMSC AP Computer Science course.
